Hot Shots Tennis

Shirley Tennis Club uses the Hot Shots coaching principals as part of our Saturday morning Junior coaching programme.  This means we use smaller rackets, small courts and low compression balls for younger players as part of their development.

8 years and under - Saturdays 9.00am - 10.00am
Beginners learn forehand, backhand, and serving on smaller courts with bigger, slower balls.  The session is split into small teaching groups of similar capabilities.

9 years and over - Saturdays 10.00am - 11.15am
Tennis skills are further developed on a full sized court and players are introduced to rallying and scoring.
