Men's and Ladies Singles, Doubles and mixed doubles are played. Players choose their own partners for doubles events.
Twilight Points Competition (Wednesday Evening)
The twilight season will begin on Wednesday 28 September 2016 and a new format will be used that will replicate what is done each Saturday.
Rather than playing a points competition each evening, it will be run on the last Wednesday of each month only, with all other playing nights being under normal tennis rules and formats.
At the end of the season, each individual's points from the monthly competition will be added up, divided by the number of games played to get an average score, and the highest score will be awarded a trophy at the end of the season.
Players will have to have played a minimum of 4 evenings to be eligible to win the trophy.
Ray Pilkington Trophy
This trophy is played for by all male members who did not win a trophy last season including new members.
Evelyn Chrystal Trophy

A handicapped Parent/Child Tournament has become an annual event over the last few seasons and has been a real success.
All Senior and Mid-Week members are entitled to enter irrespective of whether their children are members of the Club.
This tournament will be run on a Sunday morning prior to Christmas.
On the last Saturday in each month, a competition will be run where each participant will accumulate points.
At the end of the season, each individual's points from the monthly competitions will be added up and divided by the number of games played to get an average score. The highest average score will be awarded a trophy at the end of the season.
The first day of this competition will be Saturday 27 August 2016. Only players who have played on a minimum of 4 days will be eligible to win the Trophy.
